I am a little late today but better late than never. I am giving ya another "Make Monday Marvelous" post- because Monday's are, just, hard. Anyway, here is a workout to help you work off what you ate over the weekend and a mocktail to make Monday a little fancier.
Mile and Tabata
Run 1 Mile on the treadmill
After the mile to a series of tabatas*
Repeat 4 times
*Tabatas are going 20 seconds hard and resting 10 seconds- do this eight times)
(Sometimes I can only do the tabata 3 times... I am only human. Haha)
Mint to Be
You know by now that I don't do measurements when it comes to mocktails. Ha.
But here is one that my mom and I are obsessed with!
You'll need:
Club Soda (Use Sprite if you want it sweeter)
Apple Juice
Lime
Mint Leaves
Put the ice and mint in first.
Add about a cup of Apple Juice and another cup of Club Soda.
Squeeze the lime in and you are good to go!
(We never smoosh the mint leaves in it makes it WAYYY too minty.)
