About

Hey there and welcome to my blog! I am guessing since you clicked on the “About” tab you want to know more about me and this little Internet space of mine.  Well, sit back and I will tell you all about it.

I graduated in Broadcast Journalism from BYU a couple of years ago. While there I was able to do some amazing things such as help cover the Tony Awards in New York City, work with NBC Sports at Wimbledon and tons of other good stuff.  Most importantly I figured out what I wanted to do when I graduated from college- host a lifestyle show.

But after I graduated, I realized that goal wasn’t so easy. I worked for Radio Disney Boston and a marketing company before I got the chance to host a lifestyle show. It was called Mass Appeal; but it was only for a short while because I a fill-in while the regular host was on maternity leave. I LOVED that job, I got to interview amazing people (Zac Efron?! What, what!) and got talk about everything I love! Fashion, food, fitness, parties, families- it was great! Since that job ended... I will be honest and say that I haven’t been so lucky in finding a job.  I was feeling pretty down in the dumps when I decided. “Hey Elora! Stop it! Take everything you love about lifestyle shows and turn it into a blog!” (Maybe not those exact words but you get the idea.) So “With lola” was born.

I hope this little space of mine can give you ideas to make your life easier, and on occasion, more happy. Because that’s why I love lifestyle/morning shows. It’s a break in the news from sad and rough things; they are shows to help people out in a happy and upbeat way... and I so hope I can do that for you, but of course, with my own twist.

About the girl who writes this here blog.

I told you about why I started this blog and now I figured it would be a good time to tell you about me. I am a energetic (maybe to a fault) blonde who is a dreamer and is constantly wondering “What would Audrey do/wear?” I adore good food, old movies, clothes, my family, the arts, beaches, my dog, Disney, daydreaming and laughing- especially laughing.

In case you were wondering, Lola was a nickname given to me by my mother long ago and it kind of stuck… happy reading!
