Chocolate Nutella Awesomeness: Video

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are half way through the week yahoo! So today I have a fun post for you, it's another video! Wahoooo! I said on Monday I was going to have Princess themed posts as a countdown for the release of Cinderella... and this one I decided to do because in Tangled Rapunzel is an excellent baker. Also, in Princess and the Frog Tiana is an excellent cook and wants to own her own restaurant. (I don't want to own my own restaurant... but how awesome would it be to be
on a show where you got to travel around and eat sweets?!) Tiana is a hard-worker and knows in order to get to where she needs to be she needs to make things happen for herself, and that's kind of what I am doing with these videos. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video! It truly is a DELICIOUS treat! I looooove it! It has everything you would want in a dessert... Nutella, chocolate chips, raspberries, whipped cream, puff pastry... the whole sh-bang! I hope you like it!

On a side note...I am heading of town soon! See ya soon Cali/Mickey! So the posts might die down for a bit... Also, get ready for posts that are wee bit more amped on the Princess side of things. Love you all! Thank you so much for reading/watching!!

Once Upon A Time...

Hey guys! I hope you had a great weekend and Valentine's Day! And here is hoping you have a great week! Moving on, you have probably noticed that my blog tends to follow themes. I had "Superbowl Week" and "Valentine's Week," I do that because that is how a lot of lifestyle/morning shows are formatted...plus when you love something it's fun to talk about it a lot right? Wellll speaking of themes, I just wanted to give you a heads up from what you can expect from my blog for the next little while.

You see, I am a huge lover of fairytales and Disney. I have been that way my whole life, I mean, I didn't stand a chance I was named after a princess for Pete's sake! Anyway, I love the idea that good always overcomes evil and just for a moment fairytales and cheesy Disney movies can add a little magic to your life. Welllll in case you didn't know the live action version of CInderella is coming out and I am SO EXCITED! And because I am so excited all my blog posts for the next little bit will be Princess themed. Now for those of you fairytale/Disney haters don't gag. My blog will still have down to earth (and easy to do) beauty, fitness, food and fashion tips- they'll just have a slightly enchanted twist.

I hope you enjoy the blog the next couple of weeks! And here is hoping that all you readers have a happily ever after! (I just had to throw that in there...)

And to start the week off you can stare at these uber cheesy picture of the Beast and I dancing on my birthday. I felt like I was 5 again.

*Side note... my blog won't alllllways have themes. I was just explaining why it happens often.

Love Potion #9 Mocktail (Video!!)

Hello everyone!  If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram you will have seen that I posted my first video! YAYYY! I have been saying for months that am I going to do it AND I finally did! And let me tell ya, it's a little nerve wracking posting it. There are so many other great bloggers and YouTube channels out there... and to tell you the truth all of those successes were(is) incredibly intimidating to me. I kept thinking to myself, "Why would you do this? What makes you different? You don't have nearly as many followers as these other people... so will this even be worth it?" I know, those are some pretty drab thoughts but they're what went through my head. But I decided enough was enough, I am the only "me" and that is what will make my videos different(for now). It's time for me to stop sitting around talking about my dream job... it's time to take even BIGGER steps to get there; and I feel like posting this first video is a gigantic step.

Now that my little speech is over I hope you enjoy the video! It's a how-to on how to make the perfect Valentine's Day mocktail! It truly is so yummy... and I am not just saying that because I made it up, it really is good. (There are somethings that I have made that I would NEVER post because they would offend your taste buds.) ANYWAYS, I hope you enjoy the video and stay tuned for more. Thank you so much for reading, watching and tagging along with me on this dream achieving journey of mine.

Happy Valentine's Week everybody! I hope it is full of love, chocolate and treats. Whether you are celebrating with someone special, ooooor on your own it's good time to remember to be kind to those around you. AND it's especially a good time to remember to love yo-self! Cheesy but I think we all
need to remember to be kind to ourselves...

Moving on! One of my favorite things about Valentine's day (besides chocolate) is sugar cookies! More specifically, my mother's sugar cookies. I swear to you, they are the best sugar cookies of all time. I consider myself a sugar cookie tasting expert, I try them pretty much every where I go, and these are the best of the best. Give the recipe a try and tell me what you think!

My Mama's Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:
*4 1/2 cups of flour
*1 tsp baking powder
*1 tsp baking soda
*3/4 tsp. salt
*1/2 tsp nutmeg (The special ingredient!!!)
*1/2 tsp almond flavoring
*1 cup butter
*1 1/2 cup sugar
*2 tsp. vanilla
*2 eggs
*3/4 cup nonfat sour cream or plain nonfat yogurt

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla, almond flavoring and nutmeg. Then sift dry ingredients, then add the dry ingredients alternately with sour cream until smooth. Chill for at least 1 hour. Roll and cut into cute hearts (a must). Bake at 375 for about 9-10 minutes, until the bottom is a nice golden brown.
