Easy Strawberry "Shortcake"

Hello readers! I hope this week is treating you well so far. Today I have a food recipe for you, well my mom does, and it is SOOOOO easy. People love yummy food that's easy to make right?

Every Sunday my family has dinner with my cousins. There is usually a buuuuunch of us there so easy food is the way to go. This past Sunday my dad asked for Strawberry Shortcake, it being Father's Day and all it was his choice. So my mom made it but with a little bit of a twist.

For the cake she went to Costco and bought those huge muffins, I know it seems weird but it was really good. We could choose between poppy-seed and chocolate. Then she cut them into thirds, so it looked really pretty too! To make it even better she heated up Nutella and spread it between the layers so yummy! (The Nutella goes better with the chocolate muffins just so you know.)

To make the strawberries "saucy" she added granulated sugar. To step it up a notch you can add vanilla and lemon- flavor to your taste.
